STORMING DRAGON

August 31st (Conghua turf trial over 1200m: mid-field, pace test showed moderate momentum); August 20th (Conghua dirt trial over 1050m: dropped back, chased, surged at the finish to show potential). This is his first outing this season. Two months ago, he ran poorly over 1400m on Sha Tin turf, settling in the rear with a steady pace and unremarkable form. He has only managed to keep up in recent trials. In his previous run over 1200m on Happy Valley turf, the conditions were disadvantageous as he tracked towards the rear; his finishing kick may not match his rivals'. The jockey and trainer do not seem perfectly in sync. He has three wins from 22 starts this season, and his class within the group is acceptable; he could be considered a potential dark horse.
