1/9 (Dirt trial 1200m: 3rd in first section, easy run) First outing this season; two months ago, he performed poorly over 1400m on Sha Tin turf, staying back and showing a weakening finish, resulting in a heavy defeat. He has shown slight improvement in recent barrier trials. In the Happy Valley 1200m trial, his time was slightly under par, and the circumstances were disadvantageous; no outstanding finishing kick was seen, and the jockey-trainer partnership is not particularly cohesive. Winning in this distance was expected given his previous two wins and favorable draws, so a less-than-stellar performance is understandable.
