In its first run this season, it finished second two months ago, showing standout form. Fortunately, it was not too far off the winner, beaten by only two and a half lengths. A recent trial showed slight improvement. This time, it carries two pounds less weight; with three wins from ten starts, its timing figures are respectable. Its overall rating is among the top in this race, and connections have a good understanding of the horse. The form remains consistent, but the racing conditions are slightly unfavorable, requiring it to settle mid-pack and lacks the finishing power of its rivals, though it remains in contention for a win.
