This is his first outing this season; two months ago in a similar race, he performed poorly, was slow to exit the barrier, tracked from the rear with an even pace throughout, showing little pace, and suffered a heavy defeat. After this trial barrier run, there has been some slight improvement. The time figures are weak and the circumstances unfavorable; the partnership between jockey and trainer has not been outstanding. However, his finishing kick in this group is the strongest, he has proven ability over this trip, and warrants attention.
