ARMOR GOLDEN EAGLE
Horse analysis
(1/9) Turf trial over 1548m: started trailing, moved out at the 200m mark for an acceleration in the second section. Making a comeback after a long layoff, this is his first start of the season. In April, he ran over an 1800m Happy Valley course and was very disappointing; he finished trailing, though his closing run was decent. Fortunately, the margin wasn't too wide, beaten by half a length. He has since tried another trial and showed slight improvement. In his latest Happy Valley mile trial, he carried two pounds less this time; over four starts, he has won three. His time performance is acceptable, and he can hold a favorable forward position. Based on an overall assessment compared to others in the race, he is among the top contenders; the jockey and trainer collaboration looks good, and his form is progressing. However, a less-than-ideal draw and a lack of outstanding finishing kick remain concerns, though he still possesses winning potential.
