HELENE FEELING

Trained in a 1600m Sha Tin turf barrier trial on April 9th (7-6-6-4), showing satisfactory late acceleration. In a 1200m Sha Tin turf trial on August 24th (6-7-6), he tracked wide and made a strong run in the final stages, performing decently. Making his first start this season, he ran poorly over 1600m on Sha Tin turf two months ago; the start was slow, he settled towards the rear, maintaining a steady pace before gradually regaining ground in the final stages. He has since completed two barrier trials but hasn't kept pace with the progression. Running in a local race on Happy Valley turf over a mile, he will carry an extra 14 pounds this time. The current form doesn't suggest a favorable setup, his finishing kick is slightly lacking, and the jockey-trainer partnership hasn't shown exceptional synergy. However, given his record of three wins in fourteen starts and decent time performances, high expectations are not warranted.
