Two weeks ago, this horse performed to expectations over a Sha Tin 2000m race, jumping slowly and settling towards the back before making a move in the middle stages, ultimately unable to catch the leaders. Returning to Happy Valley for a longer distance race, he carries no additional weight but has drawn a poor barrier. He is expected to run from behind this time, though his finishing kick may not be strong enough to challenge rivals. The trainer and jockey don’t appear to have a strong rapport; however, given previous results over this distance and comparable times within the group, the jockey seems to have some understanding of the horse's ability making it one to watch.
