Two weeks ago, this horse performed well over 2000m on the Sha Tin turf, settling in a good position tracking the leaders and accelerating strongly over the middle two sections. He finished third after being challenged by Last Kingdom, beaten only half a length. Now trying a longer distance at Happy Valley for the first time, he is running without any additional weight. While trainer and jockey are a good match, this course may not suit him, and an unfavorable barrier draw means he will likely need to race from behind. However, his finishing kick might not be strong enough to compete with rivals, making his chances less favorable; placement as a supporting role would be most suitable.
