ARTHUR'S KINGDOM

On April 10th, the horse recorded (dirt trial 1200m: 5-6-4), traveling wide throughout but responding well to riding in the straight. On March 1st, during a dirt trial over 1200m (4-5-4), it also travelled wide and showed decent form. Prior to this, in March at Happy Valley over 1800m, the performance was poor; settling in a good position tracking the leaders and maintaining pace through the first two sections but fading badly to finish well-beaten. After a short break, two barrier trials showed moderate improvement. Now returning to a longer distance at Happy Valley with no weight reduction, facing tough competition within its group, and despite previous successes over this course and distance, along with a good draw and improved morning trackwork, it's unlikely to be competitive this time.
