He finished seventh, beaten three lengths. Now stepping up to a longer distance at Happy Valley for the first time, and despite an eight-pound weight reduction, the increased distance is unfavorable, leaving him in a less than ideal position. Although drawing a good barrier, he’s likely to be held up in the early stages; his finishing kick will be key if he's to compete with the leading contenders, but this run should be considered a trial."
