On April 29th, recorded a promising dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 4-4-3) with an encouraging late surge after being urged. Five weeks ago, this horse performed poorly over a Sha Tin mile, slow out of the gate and settling towards the rear before showing a strong finish. A recent barrier trial showed some improvement. Switching to a Sha Tin 1400m race this time, it will be his first attempt at this distance with no weight penalty. The distance is expected to suit, requiring a hold-up tactic; he possesses the strongest finishing kick among his rivals and enjoys a favorable draw. Compared to other competitors, he appears to have superior ability. Zac Purton takes the ride, known for controlling pace effectively, and the trainer/jockey combination seems harmonious, suggesting a good chance of victory.
