Three weeks ago, in a race over the same distance, the performance was very disappointing; a slow start saw the horse settle towards the rear. It then made a late run with fast sectionals but failed to make an impact. This time carrying 15 pounds less weight, with reasonable section times and drawing an inside barrier, the plan is to settle back in the field and rely on a strong finishing kick – potentially capable of a significant improvement.
