LUCKY STATEMENT

On April 25th (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 6-8-3), the horse travelled wide throughout, responding to urging in the straight and finishing well. On April 11th (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 3-3-1), he was urged on to a narrow victory. On March 28th (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 7-8-7) he was pushed in the final section but wasn’t able to make up significant ground. In early March, during a race over the same distance, the horse performed poorly, slow out of the gate and settling towards the rear with an even pace but failing to quicken. A short break followed by four trials showing slight improvement. This time carrying no additional weight and facing unfavorable timing within the group, it is expected he will be held up. However, his finishing kick isn't as strong as rivals, connections don’t appear entirely confident, despite jockey Keith Yeung taking the ride and a promising horse-jockey combination developing, the horse is showing rapid improvement in form, only suitable to run from behind.
