A brief break was followed by one barrier trial where it didn’t fully extend. This time, the horse will carry four pounds less weight but is expected to be held up in the run. However, its finishing kick may not be strong enough to compete against rivals and the overall situation isn't ideal; fortunately, the times recorded by horses in this group weren’t significantly different.
