Six days ago, over a Sha Tin 1200m turf race, the performance was poor; slow out of the gate and settled towards the rear with an even pace but no finishing kick. Returned well-beaten. Running again in two weeks over a Sha Tin 1400m turf track, this time with a one-pound weight reduction. This horse has failed to place in four previous attempts at this distance. Expected to settle back in running this race, however the finishing speed is unlikely to match rivals and the overall form isn’t ideal. Fortunately, the time of horses in the same class are comparable and drawing an inside barrier makes it worth considering.
