On April 29th, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m in sections of 7-6-2, having ridden 800m with a late surge from the 200m mark. Eight weeks ago, over the same distance, the performance was poor, with a slow start and settling towards the rear, maintaining an even pace but lacking any finishing kick. Following a short break, a barrier trial showed slight improvement. This race benefits from a four-pound weight reduction, allowing for a potential good position tracking the leaders and drawing an advantageous inside barrier.
