On 2/5, the dirt trial over 1200m showed a weakening finish and an awkward gait. Four weeks ago in the same distance race, the performance was poor; a slow jump led to settling at the rear, with a mid-race effort proving insufficient for recovery, resulting in a significant defeat. A recent barrier trial didn't reveal much promise. This time benefiting from a five-pound weight reduction and competing against similarly timed horses, a hold-up strategy is expected with emphasis on a strong finishing kick being its strength. Despite drawing an outside barrier, the overall situation isn’t considered particularly advantageous; however, a surprise performance remains possible.
