A subsequent barrier trial showed a moderate performance. Another turf trial over 1400m followed, and for this race, it carries no additional weight. The group’s time was respectable, suggesting it can keep pace with the leading horses. It has the potential to track the pace-setters, drawing an advantageous inside barrier and appearing in good form. A clean break is crucial, but if it jumps well and settles forward, a placing should be achievable.
