On May 6th, a dirt trial over 1200m saw a slightly slow start, shifting outwards after 300 meters and making moderate progress. Five weeks ago in the same distance race, the horse performed well despite a slow jump, settling towards the rear before launching a strong two-section burst in the middle stages, finishing third with a good effort, beaten by only one and a half lengths. A recent barrier trial showed unremarkable performance. This time, no additional weight is required, the group timing is comparable, and a hold-up strategy is anticipated given its finishing kick. The trainer and jockey combination are solid; despite drawing an outside barrier, there’s hope to see the horse replicate its true form.
