Five weeks ago, this horse performed poorly over a Sha Tin 1200m race, jumping slowly and settling at the back of the field. The pace was steady but failed to make significant ground when asked for effort, resulting in a heavy defeat. Now stepping up to a Sha Tin 1400m race, it will be its debut at this distance with a nine-pound weight reduction. However, the increased distance may not suit the horse, and drawing an outside barrier is unfavorable. Despite these challenges, recent gate work suggests the horse is well prepared and could be ready to run competitively."
