MAGNIFICENT NINE

On May 13th, the horse completed a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua in relaxed fashion. Three weeks ago, over the same distance, the performance was satisfactory, settling well and tracking the leaders with a good mid-section effort but failing to hold on for victory, finishing third beaten two lengths. One barrier trial was undertaken, however it wasn’t fully extended. This time he carries only a 2lb penalty, has favourable timing within his group, draws an inside barrier, and is expected to settle back in the field. Showing good finishing speed, with advantageous positioning, this horse appears a strong contender in the race. Alexis Badel takes the ride and there's a good rapport between horse, jockey and trainer; he’s expected to show his true potential.
