Three weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed well despite a slow start and settling towards the rear. It made a mid-race move, maintained a good pace throughout the final sections, finished fourth, beaten two and a half lengths. This time it will carry one pound more in weight, with comparable times within its group. Drawing an inside barrier, the plan is to settle back early, relying on a strong finishing kick which is considered the best in the field. The horse appears to have a clear advantage in this race and looks capable of hitting the trifecta.
