Five weeks ago, this horse ran a moderate race over a Happy Valley mile, settling in a good position tracking the leaders and making a mid-race move but failing to sustain it to the finish. Now stepping up to Sha Tin over 1600m for its debut at this distance, the horse benefits from a six-pound weight reduction. However, the longer trip is not ideal, and drawing an outside barrier presents a disadvantage. Despite late work before entering the gate, it’s recommended to observe one more race before assessing its chances.
