On October 18th, in a Happy Valley barrier trial over 1200m (sections recorded as 6-6-9), the horse showed a late surge but was hampered. Four weeks ago, this horse delivered an excellent performance over Sha Tin’s 1200m turf, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before accelerating with fast sections in the final two furlongs. A recent trial session didn't reveal exceptional improvement. Switching to Happy Valley mile for its first attempt at this distance, it will carry no additional weight this time and has drawn a favorable barrier. Expecting a hold-up tactics; despite potentially not being suited by the distance, the horse could still be competitive.
