Two weeks ago, this horse ran well over a Sha Tin 1400m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. He made a strong effort in the middle stages, accelerating through the final two sections with a good surge, finishing beaten three and a half lengths for fifth place. Now stepping up to a Happy Valley mile with a one-pound weight reduction and drawing a favorable barrier, a hold-up tactic is expected. He showed a good finishing kick in his last run, holds a competitive advantage over other contenders, and has the potential to win soon.
