On October 24th, in a Conghua turf trial over 1200m (sections: 5-4-1), the horse showed an initial look at open space and followed with automatic pacing. Four weeks ago, over the same distance, it performed well, settling nicely tracking the leaders at a steady pace but was overtaken by Last Resiken for second place, losing by half a length in a close finish, demonstrating good level. A subsequent barrier trial indicated slight improvement. This time, carrying only a 3lb weight increase, it posted the best time within its group, is expected to challenge for the lead and has drawn a favorable barrier. Based on the horse’s ability, it's the strongest contender in this race. Zac Purton takes the ride, with the jockey having some familiarity with the horse's capabilities; the trainer and jockey have a good rapport. A clean jump and intent to lead should see it finish prominently.
