Ten days ago (October 14th), in a turf trial over 1000m, the horse encountered early interference and required urging from the 200m mark with only an average performance. Five weeks ago, it ran poorly over Sha Tin’s 1400m turf, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. It showed some effort in the middle stages but faded late, finishing well-beaten. A recent barrier trial yielded no improvement. Making its debut over a Happy Valley mile this time with a two-pound weight reduction, the distance is unfavorable and the overall situation looks challenging; even with a favorable draw, it’s best to observe another race first.
