FLYING LUCK

Ten days ago (10/1), in a Happy Valley 1200m barrier trial, the horse started slowly and finished with a strong run on the outside. On December 30th, at Conghua over 1200m turf, it jumped moderately but settled comfortably behind the leaders for an easy win. November 6th at Conghua over 1200m dirt, it was pushed to second position and displayed powerful strides. Before April, in a race over this same distance, it performed well despite a slow start, settling back initially before launching a strong two-section burst, maintaining a good gallop. After a period of rest, the horse has undergone three barrier trials showing slight improvement. This time with a 3lb weight reduction, the plan is to settle back in the field; however, its finishing kick may not be as strong as rivals and the situation appears unfavorable. Its record at this distance is positive, and the group’s times are comparable, offering potential for a challenge.
