Seven days ago, this horse ran a respectable race over Sha Tin 1400m, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. He showed a strong late run but was beaten two and a half lengths for eighth place. Returning quickly to race in two weeks, he will now try Sha Tin over 1600m carrying an additional two pounds. This distance should suit him well and appears to have an advantageous barrier draw. Compared to other competitors, his ability is relatively strong. Vincent Ho takes the ride, gaining some understanding of the horse's capabilities. Despite drawing an outside barrier requiring a hold-up tactic, his finishing kick may not be as potent as rivals; trainer/jockey combination seems less harmonious, but still considered capable of hitting the trifecta.
