Five weeks ago, this horse ran well over the same distance, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before finishing strongly for second place, beaten two and a half lengths. A recent trial at Conghua over 1200m showed moderate performance but with a good response when clear running appeared in the straight. This time, benefiting from a five-pound weight reduction, recording the fastest time amongst its group, and drawing an inside barrier, it’s expected to settle back. The finishing kick is anticipated to be the strongest in the field, providing a favorable set of circumstances. Based on this horse's ability, it is considered a strong contender in this race. Trainer and jockey appear to have a good rapport, and the preparation has been thorough; aiming for a return to peak form.
