FOREVER GLORIOUS

On February 2nd, a turf trial over 1200m in Conghua saw a solid performance with a good stride. Six weeks ago, this horse ran decently over 2000m on the Sha Tin turf, tracking the leaders and showing strong momentum. He finished seventh, beaten by one and a half lengths. A subsequent barrier trial was satisfactory. Another turf trial over 1400m has been completed; this time he carries no additional weight. Considering his past performances at this distance, he is expected to be competitive and track the pace-setters. He draws an inside barrier which is advantageous, although the times recorded by horses in the same section were not impressive, indicating a slow overall pace during the trial.
