On February 6th, this horse completed a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua (sections: 10-9-7), showing good progress after a slow start with urging. Three weeks ago, he ran well in an 1800m dirt race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before finishing strongly. A recent barrier trial didn't fully demonstrate his potential. Another turf trial over 1800m was completed recently; he will carry no additional weight this time but remains winless in three attempts at this distance. His section times were slower compared to other horses in the same group, suggesting a need to settle towards the rear again. However, his finishing kick is unlikely to match rivals and his current form isn’t ideal, with trainer/jockey relationship not strong. The appointment of Andrea Atzeni as jockey indicates some understanding of the horse's capabilities and potential for success.
