Three weeks ago, this horse delivered an excellent performance in a dirt mile, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before making a strong late run over the final two sections. Having trialed on the Sha Tin turf at 1800m, he will carry one pound less weight this time, but has drawn an outside barrier. The plan is to settle back again, however, his finishing kick wasn't as strong as rivals in the trial and the unfavorable draw doesn’t help. Despite a similar sectional timing to others, he didn’t impress during the final gallop before this race.
