On March 2nd, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 6-8-7), appearing to be used as a warm-up exercise. Six weeks ago, it ran a respectable race over Sha Tin’s 2000m, jumping slowly but finishing strongly from behind with good momentum. A subsequent barrier trial didn't show any improvement. Another turf trial over 1400m was undertaken recently. This time, no additional weight will be carried, and the section times in its group were unremarkable. It drew an outside barrier, which is a disadvantage, and showed a weak finishing kick. The trainer-jockey combination isn’t ideal; however, it possesses the ability to track the leaders. With Andrea Atzeni taking the ride, there's hope for better synergy. A clean jump should allow it to settle in a forward position and contend for a place.
