Three weeks ago, this horse performed well in a dirt track 1800m race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear but showing a strong late run. Returning to turf over 1800m at Sha Tin, he will carry no additional weight this time but has drawn an outside barrier. The plan is to settle back in the field, however, his finishing kick wasn’t strong enough against rivals last start and the draw presents a challenge. Despite having two previous wins over this distance, the overall time was not exceptional; trainer and jockey still maintain good communication and there remains some opportunity.
