GOOD GOOD

On February 6th, this horse completed a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua (sections: 6-8-8), intentionally held back and settled in midfield. Three weeks ago, he ran well over 1800m on the dirt, tracking the leaders and finishing second with a strong late run, beaten two and a half lengths. He showed no issues in a recent barrier trial. Returning to Sha Tin over 1800m this time with a 2lb weight increase, while the section times were reasonable, he has drawn a good barrier providing an opportunity for an early lead. Hugh Bowman takes the ride, and there appears to be a good rapport between horse, jockey, and trainer; however, the overall situation isn't particularly advantageous, suggesting a trailing pace is preferable.
