Two weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Sha Tin 1400m course, slow to jump and settling towards the rear. He maintained an even pace throughout but lacked acceleration and finished well-beaten. Now switching to Happy Valley over 1800m for its debut at this distance, it will carry four additional pounds this time. The distance is unfavorable, presenting a slight disadvantage. Adopting a hold-up tactic could hinder its finishing kick, and the trainer-jockey combination hasn’t shown significant synergy; a cautious outlook is advised.
