MISTER DAPPER

Last run winner, four weeks ago this horse delivered an excellent performance over a Happy Valley mile, leading from start to finish for victory. He then trialed over 1800m at Happy Valley, running the distance for the first time and showing acceptable time figures. His early speed was enough to take control of the pace. Based on ratings, he’s currently the strongest in this group; trainer and jockey appear well-matched. However, he will carry two pounds more weight this race and his finishing kick is slightly weaker, but remains competitive.
