On 8/9, recorded a strong dirt trial over 1200m (sections 6-4-1), accelerating to win. A turf trial at Conghua over 1200m on 25/8 showed a weaker straight run and requires improvement. Having been off the track for a while, this horse is making its seasonal debut. In early April, it ran a respectable race over 1800m at Sha Tin, settling towards the rear and maintaining a steady pace before finishing fourth. Two barrier trials have shown positive progress. Switching to Happy Valley over 1800m, it's a first attempt at this distance with acceptable time figures. An advantageous barrier draw allows for an early position, and its overall ratings are competitive within the field. Morning trackwork indicates good form, however, it faces a 2lb weight increase this race, the distance may not suit and showed limited finishing speed in previous runs; trainer/jockey combination isn't ideal, but it remains a contender.
