On 11/9 (dirt trial 1200m: 4-6-5), the horse was urged forward with moderate changes in pace. On 30/8 (turf trial 1000m: 11-11-11), it trailed behind throughout, never participating in the competition. Making its seasonal debut, this horse displayed a strong performance over a Happy Valley mile in early March, jumping slowly and settling at the back with a steady pace. It finished third, beaten by half a length after a late run. Two subsequent barrier trials showed no improvement. Another trial over 1800m at Happy Valley revealed the distance is unsuitable, with weak time figures. The horse's current form doesn’t appear conducive to success and the barrier draw is unfavorable, requiring a trailing position. Finishing kick was weaker than rivals, and jockey-trainer coordination could be better; not considered a strong contender.
