Trial on 25/9 (Dirt trial 1200m: 6-7-1) ran four to five wide, accelerated around the 200m mark, and passed horses. Last run on 31/8 (Sha Tin grass trial 1200m: 10-10-10) lacked early speed, simply tracking the pace. Returning after a long break for his first race of the season, he performed excellently in a race on Sha Tin turf over 2000m earlier this season, tracking the leaders comfortably and gradually closing in during the final stages to win. He has improved after two barrier trials. In his most recent trial over 1800m on Sha Tin turf, he needed to carry eight pounds more this time; the time performance was not outstanding, and his finishing kick was slightly lacking. However, he retains a low chance due to being able to hold a favorable forward position and drawing an advantageous barrier.
