Three weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over a Happy Valley 1200m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. He maintained a steady pace but showed some late acceleration. Last start, he debuted on Sha Tin turf over 1400m. This time he will carry an 18-pound weight increase, which is not ideal given the distance. A hold-up tactic is expected, however his finishing kick was weaker than rivals in the last run and the overall situation isn't favorable. Fortunately, he’s drawn an inside barrier providing opportunities for a late charge.
