COMMANDING MISSILE

On May 8th, the dirt trial over 1200m saw this horse deliberately held back, running freely on the straight with an ordinary performance (sections: 7-7-7). On February 5th, another dirt trial over 1200m involved strong urging but without any improvement (sections: 4-4-4). Five weeks ago, in a Sha Tin turf mile race, the horse performed poorly, settling well and tracking the pace with steady speed, ultimately finishing far behind. Two barrier trials have been undertaken, but insufficient work has been completed. Another turf trial over 1400m is scheduled; this time with a two-pound weight reduction, presenting an unfavorable situation. Despite comparable times within the group, it may be able to track the leaders, however chances appear limited.
