PERFECTO MOMENTS

On April 22nd, a dirt trial over 1200m saw the horse fading in the middle stages and finishing last. Six weeks ago, over the same distance, performance was reasonable with a slow jump but staying back in the field before making a move in the middle section and maintaining a good gallop. A subsequent barrier trial didn’t show any improvement. This race has a four-pound weight reduction, but the horse remains winless in four attempts at this distance. Drawing an outside barrier necessitates a hold-up strategy; however, its finishing kick isn't as strong as rivals, creating an unfavorable situation. The advantage lies in having comparable times within its group and being well-prepared for the race.
