Two weeks ago, this horse performed poorly over a Sha Tin 1200m turf track, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. It showed a strong late run. In a recent trial over Sha Tin 1400m, it will carry two pounds less weight this time and has drawn an inside barrier. The strategy is to settle back in the field, relying on a strong finishing kick; the horse appears well-suited to its jockey. Despite not showing impressive times in previous races with this combination, trainer and jockey appear to be forming a partnership, and it’s expected to finish respectably.
