On May 13th, a turf trial over 800m at Conghua saw the horse settle towards the rear after being restrained and finishing in sixth place. On April 28th, another turf trial over 1000m at Conghua showed relaxed running with a steady pace, finishing fourth and fifth throughout the sections. Most recently on April 11th, a 1000m turf trial at Conghua saw it make a move from the 200m mark, displaying good responsiveness. Two months ago in its last run over a straight course, the horse performed below expectations after a slow start and settling towards the back with a steady pace but lacking a strong finishing kick. Following a short break, three barrier trials have shown slight improvement. Now dropping into Class for its debut on Sha Tin turf over 1400m, it will carry an additional 19 pounds this time and face a distance increase which is unfavorable. Although possessing early speed potential, the horse’s finishing kick remains strong within the group, suggesting observation in its first run is recommended.
