Four weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Happy Valley 1200m, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with a steady pace but lacking any impressive sections. Another trial on dirt over 1200m, this time carrying a two-pound weight reduction and drawing an unfavorable outside barrier. Although its section times were not significantly slower than others, it showed ability to keep up with the leading pace-setters, capable of tracking the front runners, with a strong finishing kick amongst its group but doesn’t appear to have any clear strategy.
