Four weeks ago, this horse ran poorly in a dirt 1200m race, slow out of the gate and settling towards the rear with an even pace but lacking any finishing kick. He returned well-beaten. Dropping back to Sha Tin over 1400m last run, he faces a seven-pound weight increase this time despite holding the best time in the group and having undergone gate work recently. However, he has failed to place in three attempts at this distance. While expected to race towards the rear again, his finishing kick is unlikely to match rivals, making his chances questionable; hoping for an improved finish.
