Two weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed well despite a slow start, settling towards the rear and making a strong move in the middle stages with a good finishing effort. This time carrying a two-pound weight reduction, the group timing is promising, drawing an inside barrier, and will likely be held back for a late run – possessing the strongest finishing kick of the field. Ben Thompson takes the ride, gaining some understanding of the horse’s capabilities. Despite five previous losses over this course and distance, the form isn't entirely unfavorable; however, trainer-jockey synergy is lacking, but still has potential to perform well.
