On May 30th, during a 1600m turf trial in Conghua, he traveled wide and showed an ordinary performance under pressure. Three months ago, in the same distance race, his run was poor; a slow start saw him settling towards the rear initially before making a mid-race effort but failing to sustain it. Following a short break, two barrier trials yielded unremarkable results. He is set to race after trackwork. This time he will carry 20 pounds more weight and faces challenging opposition in his group. While having previous form over this distance, despite drawing an inside barrier, the overall prospects are not favorable.
